Myo stands for a muscle. Fascia stands for connecting tissue, elastic wrap covering our body. It protects, transmits information, separates or inter connects, positions the organs within the body. It cushions the stress and trauma. Fascia enables sliding and softness in all tissues and body. Fascia represents a suit covering our whole body with inter connected internal tissues. WHAT?

 

Myofascial relaxation technique represents body without pain and blocks. By applying this technique the fascia is released and it returns to a normal state.

HOW?

Due to any physical, psychological and emotional trauma, exposure to stress, improper posture, even if there is a scar, the fascia reacts. It becomes less elastic and rigid, causing tightening, pain and limitation of movement, as well as the normal functioning of organs and systems.

 

The therapist uses a specific, very mild hand grip and involves the use of different types of movements. The goal is to release the fascia and eliminate the pain, to increase mobility and eliminate tension.
